About Townsend Smith Foundation

The Townsend Smith Foundation is a charitable organization working to build a hospice for North Halton. We are striving to provide access to palliative care for residents of North Halton, serving the needs of terminally ill people and their families. We believe in a community where every individual has access to a dignified and caring end of life journey.

The foundation has secured a property for the first residential hospice at Trafalgar Road and 5 Side Road, Halton Hills, where the Hillcrest United Church currently stands. We are excited for what comes next in the process of bringing the hospice into a reality. We are continuing to raise funds through events and generous donors, and bringing awareness to the need for a hospice in our community.

All proceeds from The HerQuest for Hospice Race will benefit the Townsend Smith Hospice Foundation.
